I absolutely love this foundation, I wouldnt tradeit for the world! My skin is flawless and perfect, yet it has such a natural look. This product outlasts any foundations I have used in the past, yes the price may look higher than what you would pay for drugstore foundation but that's because it lasts up to 3X as long!! And that is using it everyday!

I tried this product and others a few years ago and was not happy with it so stopped using it. Recently I purchased the starter kit again and thought maybe I'd give it another go. Mistake. I've applied like the videos show, and instructions tell, but it left my skin cakey around the nose and eyes also it gathered up in my lines around my eyes and forehead. Also, the starter kit brush sheds like nobody's business! I was walking around with hair all over my face, not happy with this product.

I have a friend who has been using Bare Escentuals for a good while, and has been after me to try the make up, but I never would, because I am under 2 dermotologist care and have very sensitive skin along with many many many allergies. So after a really long time of her talking me about how wonderful the makeup is, I finally gave up and said okay, let's go try the make up. I was prepared for my face to break out, not to like the makeup because it was a powder and I was use to a liquid foundation, and just because I thought it wouldn't work. Well, I am here to tell you a Year later, that I Love the foundation, the cover up Summer Bisque for acne and dark spots on my face, blush, the well rested, mineral veil, eye makeup, lip sticks, gloss, & eye liners, and eye moisturizer. If you have never tried it and are a skeptic like I use to be, then go out and get your make- over and see for yourself what you have been looking for in a wonderful foundation and other Bare Escentual products. You will love the fact that it isn't heavy on your face, & you do not get as oily. So glad to have Bare Escentual products in my life and I know you will too!!!

I have tried so many foundations and nothing has worked for my skin. It either looks dry or to heavy by the end of the day. Not this. I bought this a few days ago and I cant believe the difference it has made on my skin. It also has given me more confidence than i ever had because i dont worry about it wearing off. It stays on and looks great all day. I couldnt be happier!

I was a devoted user of a very expensive liquid foundation I could only buy in finer department stores for many, many years. I routinely spent in excess of $200 each time I visited the cosmetic counter. A few years ago, I saw a commercial on TV for bareMinerals and decided to try it. I honestly thought it would be another of those experiments that would end up in the drawer in my bathroom where all of the other failed experiments reside and my daughter loves to root through for free stuff when she comes to visit. Imagine my surprise to discover that I completely love the product! I use less makeup, feel as though I am wearing nothing at all, and totally love how it hides nature's little mistakes. I don't spend nearly as much money, for which I am eternally grateful now that my husband's and my income is reduced in his retirement, and I love how well so many of the other products I use work ... moisturizers, eye makeup, etc. I am a bareMinerals devotee forever!!

Number one tip: Go to a store near you that sells bareMinerals and get color-matched. This allows you to feel the product, get a real match in real time, and know the wonder that is bareMinerals! Then come back here, pick and choose what you want at your leisure, but be sure to pick up this standard foundation! It works as a foundation, concealer, and even a redness reducer (light to medium coverage of such). I have really, really red cheeks (not quite Rosacea, but looks close to it). With this foundation, I get the coverage I want, but it lets just enough of the red to show that I don't need blush. With the special concealer brush (sold separately), I get rid of undereye darkness too.
This really is the standard starting point of your bareMinerals experience!

I was leery about trying product but my sister convinced me of it and it was the best choice I ever made. I have (or used to have) a not so good complexion. I constatnly had pinkness to my cheeks and chin, no matter what I did and what other make-up I used. A month after using Bare Escentuals I've found that I no longer have that pinkness. My acne is less and when I do get (of course during "that time") they are small and not as noticeable. Now, in all fairness I did change what face wash/creams I use also. I love how when I look in the mirror I feel pretty. I use everything from foundation and warmth, to blush and mineral veil. I love the eye shadows as well. This has AMAZING coverage and long wear time, by the end of the day I feel I look just as good as when I put on my make up. Definitely a great buy!

I tried Bare Minerals years ago, and was never quite satisfied with how I looked in the product. (That was before I discovered Warmth, which is another review...)
I was having a lot of breakouts, so I broke out my OLD Bare Escentuals foundation. I put it on, and liked how it went on, but the color was slightly "off" on my face. Luckily, we have a Bare Escentuals boutique, so I went in to try some shades.
Little did I know, I'm a perfect Fairly Medium. And when you have the right shade, this foundation disappears along the jaw line.
I also tried the matte, which doesn't have quite enough coverage for me. I'm an "original" girl.
I'm so glad I tried again! Bare Escentuals, I'm back! (And my face looks fabulous!)

This foundation is so light that it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing makeup, yet it's the best cover I have ever used for blemishes, age spots and imperfections. By the time, I'm done applying my makeup, my skin looks better than it did when I was 18! It's unbelievable! I love that I'm wearing completely natural products that are good for my skin. They go a long way and I think my skin is actually looking better than it did before using Bare Escentuals. I love it and will never go back to using anything else!

Bare minerals original spf 15 foundation is the best foundation yet. I've used tons of other foundations and this one is the only one where I look in the mirror and say "Wow! I love my skin!" It's amazing. You have to buy it, if you haven't yet. It covers all of your impurities, and gives your skin that airbrushed look. It lasts all day, and makes your skin feel wonderful. I highly recommend this product. Thank you bare minerals!

I have struggled with acne, redness, hives, itchy skin, blackheads, whiteheads, skin rashes...EVERYTHING since I was a teenager, about 8 years ago. I could NEVER wear liquid makeup because it would make me break out, look too oily, or be flaky. Powdered makeup also looked flaky. When I finally bought Bare Minerals I was in heaven! It was a miracle. Complete coverage, smooth skin, SPF, natural looking... the whole 9! I will never use anything else! I feel naked leaving the house without it on now!

originally i had been using the medium. but as i kept using i kept seeing that it was just slightly too dark and the matte was way too dark for some reason. i ended up getting this one because the medium was slightly dark and this one fits perfectly. it's the exact color i have yet covers just as well.

I have used Bare Escentuals since I first saw Leslie on QVC many years ago. Every since that first purchase I have not used anything else. The coverage is perfect and feels like you are not wearing makeup at all. To get my perfect foundation shade I had to purchase medium foundation and bisque and mix them together. I was recently at Sephora and discovered the Fairly Medium shade. Love it!! It is perfect for me. Recently, my husband and I traveled and stayed in a hotel with a vanity area outside the bathroom. As I put on my makeup, my husband said, "Now I know what that tap, tap, tapping is that I hear every morning". For years he heard the tapping but had no idea what was making the noise. I don't often get to Sephora so love that my foundation is available online. I am a customer for life.

I love BareMinerals - it is the first mineral makeup I ever used and have been a die-hard user for 6 years now. I have acne prone skin and mild discoloration on my cheeks from past acne issues, but with BareMinerals, acne and scaring/discoloration are total none-issues. There have been time when I forget to take off my makeup and end up sleeping in it, not a breakout in sight!
BareMinerals claims that you can use their product on any skin type, and I agree - to a point. A year or 2 back, I had a severe stress-related acne breakout that would not resolve. I had to use strong products to fight it that did eventually work, but for the first 6 months of use, my skin was as dry as a desert. I couldn't use BM at all because all it would do was exacerbate my dry skin and actually cause breakouts (dead, dry skin clogging my pores). It's not a problem anymore as I have found a sufficient moisturizer that restored my skin's texture, but I would advise people using a current acne regime and dry, flaky skin to use this product w/ caution (thus my 4 star).
